Jul 15 - The wife of ROLLING STONES guitarist KEITH RICHARDS tells Vogue magazine in their August issue that she's a cancer survivor. PATTI HANSEN revealed to the magazine that she was diagnosed with bladder cancer in 2007 and a doctor told her she had only two or three years left to live. Hansen says she underwent a dangerous surgery where doctors removed her bladder and used part of her intestine to create a new bladder. She also had her appendix removed and underwent a full hysterectomy. Hansen, who's now cancer free, says that she wants to reach out and help other women who suffer from bladder cancer. The issue of Vogue will be in stores on July 20th.
